Today was a very smooth, but MESSY day! Lauren's ostomy bag has been a trouble since the beginning. It doesn't want to adhere next to the stoma and between the mucus fistula (other end of tube-tied off for later surgery). We have to change it daily 3-5 times. Normally, they get changed every 3-5 days; so you can imagine our frustration. Each nurse has their advice and ideas (luckily patience too), but the bag conquers.
So, the ostomy nurse we called to save the day-she showed us some cool putty stuff to help with the adhesion process, but it leaked too. Bag #3, let's hope it works....
Otherwise, Lauren was a cutie pie, eating and now burping good. I love her sooo much-leaky or not:)
Bless you for being so strong...for being patient and loving and unconditional...I could go on and on. Continued prayers for Lauren's improvements towards having the surgery tomorrow and many prayers for you to continue to..do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. (Phil. 4:13)
