Great news, we got her mucous fistula in!!! They had to sedate and intubate her during the process, and still is throughout today and night so that she remains calm and doesn't push it back out. Also, if it does come out, they want be able to get to surgery in the morning and it would be easier on Lauren to already be intubated. It's very different seeing her with this, but I know it's temporary and tomorrow evening she will look good again.
She took transfusion well and her hemo levels looked better, while her levels for the infection were lower-so good news all around.
YEAH for good news :)
